Airplane Hunter

The Seattle air museum is certainly on my radar as a must see. Largely due to the work of this gentleman:

One of his latest projects - A TCA Super Connie

You haven't seen it yet? Is your beastie sufficiently certified to cross the border? If you call ahead you can get permission to park right outside the museum. That would be a great trip. Can I come?

Wow! That museum, across the street from Boeing, is absolutely worth a trip. The last time I was there the outside display was the Concorde & 707. Now there's 727 #001 I have to see, and soon a Connie! The Connie is lovely... it has a dolphin like appeal, and reminds me of the days airplanes didn't all look the same and weren't called 'busses'.

The shop in the background is a recreation of the historical origins of Boeing, and goes waaaay back. You can almost smell the fabric dope.

By all means, go. Can I come with too?

Hmmm... a flyout-blogger-rally-meetup at the Air Museum in Seattle. Could be interesting...

You'll have to get TC certification for external loads, with all the folks who will want to come.
